While studying the Master’s Program in Business Administration, students acquire in-depth and systematic theoretical knowledge about the field of business administration and develop leadership competencies. This enables them to identify creative and reliable solutions to real business problems in the workplace, make ethical managerial decisions, and confidently handle unexpected challenges and uncertainties.

The master's program is led by a team of academic and visiting staff consisting of leading specialists and practitioners in the field, who are constantly engaged in contemporary research, international collaborations, and practical activities.
Information computer resource centers, fully equipped lecture auditoriums, university library with diverse collections and rich electronic resources, including international electronic databases, university network "Argus" for student registration and educational process management, and distance learning platforms "Turnitin" and "E-learning", university and/or faculty centers contribute to improving the quality of academic processes and ensure the achievement of learning outcomes provided by the program.
Exchange direction with University of Applied Sciences Burgenland (Austria) — Students have the opportunity to participate in a master's exchange program at University of Applied Sciences Burgenland (Austria) and, in addition to Ilia State University's Master of Business Administration degree, obtain University of Burgenland's master's academic degree. Based on partnership agreements between universities, students participating in the Burgenland exchange program must spend their 2nd semester of study at the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland (Austria).
The program ensures the development of students' practical and transferable skills through practical work and assignments integrated into relevant courses. Additionally, to develop practical skills, the program includes both research institutes existing at Ilia State University (Business Research Center) and partner organizations with which appropriate memoranda have been signed.
Through Erasmus+ exchange programs, students have the opportunity to study for one or two semesters at partner universities, gaining European education and experience that provides competitive advantages in both local and international job markets.

Program graduates can continue their studies at the doctoral level.
Local and international candidates wishing to enroll in the program should preferably have a bachelor’s degree in business and administration (041): finance, banking and insurance (0412), management and administration (0413), marketing and advertising (0414), or economics (0311).
International candidates are enrolled in accordance with the procedures and conditions established by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia.
Local candidates must pass the general master’s examination and internal university admission examination (to facilitate admission procedures, an online format of internal university examination is possible for international candidates). Admission examination evaluation criteria are updated annually and available on the Ilia University website.
Each candidate is required to demonstrate English language competency at a minimum B2 level. To prove English language competency, applicants must pass a university-administered (paper-based or online) English language examination (testing all four language skills) that corresponds to the minimum B2 level established by the Common European Framework of Reference, or present one of the following documents:
